Hola Fruta Sherbet Review

I never thought much about fruit sherbet before. Even though it’s something that functions in the same way that ice cream does,  I always forget about it when I’m choosing what to have for dessert. There was never anything truly exciting about it, it was just sort of there. But the Hola Fruta company has changed my perspective. Putting fruit sherbet back on the scene in more ways than one, they’ve helped me discover that fruit sherbet can actually be a pretty delicious and healthy dessert!

That’s my two cents. I tried the strawberry and pina colada flavors and I thoroughly enjoyed them. But we also conducted an in-house taste test at Recipe4Living so go check out what my fellow tasters had to say!

Product Review: Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt

We love Greek yogurt here at Chew on That. There’s something about that creamy, thick yogurt that we just can’t resist. Have I mentioned how great it is? Well, Recipe4Living was lucky enough to score some free coupon to try out one of the Greek yogurt brands on the market: Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt made by Stonyfield Farms. We immediately dispersed these coupons to our hungry team of Product Testers for review.

Want to know how Oikos measured up? Read the review here.

Do the DEWmocracy

Woohoo! Chew on That blog had some fun today! We had the privilege of receiving three new flavors of Mountain Dew to test out and share which one we liked best. And as if that didn’t make us feel important enough, the winning new version of DEW will soon be sold in stores!

The cool thing about these new flavors was that they were actually created by DEW drinkers! Back in November, the company came out with their new effort called “DEWmocracy” that invited dew drinkers to collectively come up with new versions of Mountain Dew. Now the new flavors have actually been produced with new can designs and all.

Product Review: Perdue Perfect Portions Chicken

Recipe4Living’s product testing program is having a blast and has just reviewed another product! This time Perdue’s Perfect Portions Chicken was called in for questioning.

We asked our testers to tell us how they felt about the chicken. Did it taste good? Was it easy to cook with? Would you buy it again?

But perhaps the most important question of all was: Were the portions indeed perfect?

Our Recipe4Living product testers have been very busy in the kitchen, testing one of our latest samples: King Arthur Flour. We were fortunate to receive a total of 7 different King Arthur Flour products ranging from the classic All Purpose Flour to specialty products like their Chocolate Lava Cake Mix.

And after baking batches and batches of whole wheat bread, blueberry scones, lava cakes and…you name it, our reviewers had quite a few positive things to say.
